Max has extensive experience in complex real estate transactions, including sophisticated tax-deferred exchanges and commercial transactions that require careful attention to numerous details. Condominium law and landlord-tenant law are also some of Max’s specialty practice areas. He is a trusted advisor in both single- and multi-family transactions and a strategic advocate for his clients when adversarial matters arise before or after closing. Max has organized hundreds of LLCs and has advised business owners at all stages from formation through exit.

Prior to earning his J.D., Max received his B.B.A. in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he gained a thorough understanding of many fundamental real estate concepts, including real estate development, valuation, and finance.
